Dallas Mavericks Beat The Miami Heat. LeBron Remains Ringless.
By: Jason Perrigan
Dear LeBron,
As tweeted by @KingJames on January 12th 2011, "Crazy. Karma is a b****.. Gets you every time, Its not good to wish bad on anybody. God sees everything!"
I was hoping to bring this up when the mighty mighty Miami Heat lost in the NBA Finals. I also want to say THANK YOU LeBron
for not showing up in the Finals. Now Cleveland fans can rest assured that the problem wasn't the TEAM or the FANS but the problem was you. How does it feel to have to beg fans to come out and support your team? How does it feel to celebrate an NBA Championship before the season, just to come up short once again? Karma is a what?
Now SOME PEOPLE know how it feels to be completely embarrassed on National TV. Do you feel that knot deep in your stomach? That is how you made an entire city feel in one night with "the decision." I guess the grass wasn't greener in South Beach.
Although you left Cleveland to CHASE RINGS, Cleveland is going to survive. Karma? Cleveland has the first and fourth picks in the 2011 draft. Not to mention two second round and trade exception we received when the Cavs "traded" you. Cleveland will rebuild quickly and become a contender sooner than later.
Now that I got that out of the way, I'm sure you'll get a ring someday. I am personally very happy it wasn't this year after the parade you participated in before the season celebrating your now non-existent 2011 NBA championship ring. Thank you Dallas for being the heroes for not only Cleveland, but for the entire nation.
I'm sure you heard this phrase many many times in
Cleveland relating to the Indians, Browns and Cavaliers, but now, this phrase relates directly to you. "MAYBE NEXT YEAR" Lebron.
Sincerely,
A very Happy Cavs Fan
